U Mumba began their home-leg on a positive note during the ongoing sixth season of the Pro Kabaddi League as the usurped Jaipur Pink Panthers 48-24 in what was a one-sided match on Friday.
In the second game of the day, Bengal Warriors defeated Telugu Titans 30-25 in what was a much closer match.
With strong tackles and raids, U Mumba displayed a strong game and gave their opponents very little opportunity to take control of the match.
U Mumba players, Abhishek and Darshan’s precision raids helped the team get an early lead and Vinod Kumar’s attacks and Rohit Rana’s spectacular defense in the centre helped them maintain momentum and steadily increase the lead to bag the match.
U Mumba faces Gujarat Fortunegiants on Saturday, while Bengal Warriors take on Patna Pirates.
