The New Honda CB300R which is inspired by the Honda Neo Sports Café Concept has reached 400 bookings in India with deliveries expected to roll out on March End. It is being sold through the 22 Honda Wing World showrooms in the country. Honda CB300R is one of the lightest motorcycles in the 200 to 500 cc segment being built on a tubular and pressed steel framework.
The CB300R incorporates features such as a LED headlamp, signature horse shoe shaped light guide for better visibility, a comfortable seat design with a sculpted fuel tank. It also has the handlebars tapered with a 40 degree turning angle to ensure a better riding stance.
There is an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) based dual channel ABS, Peak Hold functions with the wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Street radial tires to ensure better performance and safety.
The bike competes with Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM 390 Duke, BMW G310R, Bajaj Dominar 400 as well as the RE Interceptor 650 and Jawa bikes which are all in the same price range.
