The 61st Grammy Awards took place at the Staples Center, Los Angeles on Sunday evening. The award ceremony saw performances by some of the biggest names in the music industry like Camila Cabello, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Janelle Monáe, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, and more.
Childish Gambino won Record of the Year for This Is America, while the Album Of The Year award went to Kacey Musgraves for her album Golden Hour. Childish Gambino’s This is America also won Song Of The Year.
Cardi B’s Invasion Of Privacy won the award for Best Rap Album, H.E.R. won Best R&B Album, while Kacey Musgraves’s Golden Hour won Best Country Album. Ariana Grande won her first Grammy for the Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener.
In the Best New Artist category, Dua Lipa took home the award.
The late Chris Cornell won a posthumous Grammy for ‘When Bad Does Good’ in the Best Rock Performance category, which was received by his two children, Toni and Christopher.
